Job Description
This position is part of IP Networks Business unit, within Network Infrastructure APAC Regional Business Center. This team is responsible for end-to-end solution implementation and Maintenance support of IP/MPLS and Datacenter network infrastructure.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead end-to-end implementation and maintenance of IP/MPLS and Datacenter network infrastructure solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex network issues.
- Collaborate with product support teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring swift resolution of critical outages.
- Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers, enhancing overall product competency.
- Design and execute migration strategies for brownfield deployments in large service providers and enterprise networks.
- Work closely with key customers and business development teams to develop and implement tailored network solutions.
- Create and promote best practice documentation, white papers, and technical articles for continuous learning.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and partnership with design and technical teams to address network-related challenges.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IP data networking.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical degree.
- 5+ years’ experience with IP Routing technologies and networking protocols.
- Strong IP network troubleshooting skills and experience with IP/MPLS protocols.
- Proven experience in designing & implementing Linux Servers/Virtualized Networks.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Industry certifications such as SRA, CCIE, JNIE, ASRA, or RH OpenStack.
- Experience in virtualization and cloud technologies (OpenStack, SDN/NFV).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for customer-facing situations.
