What’s the scope of this role?

Netcracker Technology (www.netcracker.com) is looking to hire an Integration Solution Architect to design and lead the project integration scope, approach, and implementation strategy. Manage solution E2E, and roadmap consistency against the integration scope and integration strategy. Align integration architecture and strategy with customers. Communicate technical direction and provide guidance to Business Analysts and Implementation Leads.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with customer and Netcracker architecture and implementation leads to define the architectural approach, data design and high-level integration interfaces for the project while working to ensure assigned project goals are met within expected timelines and Netcracker standards.
  • Collaborate with project implementation teams to analyze, design/enhance and implement mission critical, enterprise-level integrations and deliver on program objectives.
  • Design, document, implement, and promote the use of appropriate integration technologies, APIs, standards and improvements.
  • Clearly, consistently, and concisely capture and communicate key components of an architecture to the assigned teams through engaging presentations and clear documentation.
  • Review project charters to ensure technical feasibility, work with the teams and to escalate issues to the program or portfolio.
  • Work with implementation and management teams to ensure project delivery is successful.
  • Contributes to Proof of Concept and help research new technologies.
  • Ensure the overall solution is adequately and appropriately integrated (both internal and external).
  • Support the assessment of various integration solution design options and recommend solutions that best suit the project needs.


What skills and experience will you need for this role?

  • 5+ years of experience in the domain, and 3+ years of hands-on in the designing and implementing of enterprise information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience working in Integration Architecture, preferably with experience on multiple organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience that spans IT disciplines such as technical architecture, network management, integration management, application development, middleware, database management or operations.
  • Practical experience in E2E Cloud-native application delivery to public and/or private cloud customers.
  • Proved experience in communicating writing strategic documents for, and creating/delivering presentations to internal business leaders as well as customers; in leading discussions with internal and customer teams in the ways that supports strategic planning and decision-making; seeking a consensus with project leaders / architects.
  • Practical experience in API design (technical specifications for Integration agreements, HTTP, SOAP, REST API, YANG, XML, JSON)
  • Practical experience in messaging design (Integration Agreements preparations for system communications based on Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of data models
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Higher degree in IT, Telecommunications or related areas (Preferably a Master's Degree)


What other skills and/or experience could be useful for this position?

  • Knowledge for the existing industry SDOs and Open Source API design frameworks, best practices and API design guidelines (like TMF Frameworx, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI)
  • K8s principles understanding
  • Experience with Telecommunication projects. Knowledge of B/OSS applications and integration scenarios.
