Integration Engineer
Position Overview:
As an Integration Engineer at Systems Technologies, you will execute automation projects, ensuring they meet customer needs and requirements. This role involves project engineering, programming, and cultivating customer relationships to drive repeat business and growth. You will work independently or as part of a project team, travel as needed for system commissioning and communicate effectively with customers and various levels of personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering and Programming:
* Will install security electronics and networking equipment. Will travel to customers' sites and will perform installation and programming of PLC's. Touchscreen computers. jobsite housekeeping. Will need to follow written and verbal instructions provided from immediate supervisor and customers without constant supervision. Needs to adhere to company policies and guidelines. Safeguard all tools and company equipment in their care. Report unsafe acts or conditions on a jobsite immediately. Follow all safety procedures as set forth by the general contractor or OSHA, whichever sets the strictest guidelines.
* Execute projects based on customer specifications and needs.
* Involved in project estimating, design reviews, programming, installation and commissioning support.
Technical Expertise:
* Position involves troubleshooting, repair, and installation of integrated security mechanical and electronic systems, to include but not limited to the following:
* CCTV equipment, analog and digital IP based systems
* Intercom / Audio systems
* Electronic locking systems
* Card access control equipment
* Relay logic and PLC based control
* Familiarity with file structure in PC based controls
* Specify control systems hardware and software per customer requirements.
* Solve problems independently and suggest solutions to internal and external customers.
* Demonstrate commitment to building technical skills through continuous education.
* Provide guidance and mentorship of others.
Collaboration and Communication:
* Interface and communicate effectively with various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, electricians, vendors, customers, and company leadership.
Customer Relationships:
* Ensure customer satisfaction through successful project execution and effective communication.
* Build and maintain relationships to foster repeat business and growth.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
* 10+ years in the automation field.
Skills:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in control system design, machine safety, PLCs, SCADA/Operator Interfaces.
* Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Capable of working independently or within a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
