Join our innovative team at Ericsson as an Integration Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in the deployment, configuration, and validation of Packet Core, Policy, and Signaling solutions. In this role, you will work closely with solution architects, project managers, and customers to implement designs, perform system integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high-quality solution delivery. Your practical experience with Packet Core technologies, signaling protocols, and system integration will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and network excellence. Your collaborative mindset, technical depth, and attention to detail will help Ericsson lead in a fast-paced and evolving telecom environment.

What you will do:

• Perform end-to-end integration, configuration, and commissioning of Packet Core and Signaling solutions, including EPC, 5G Core, and DRA/signaling components.
• Support the implementation and testing of solutions across customer networks in Egypt and the region, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with design documents.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand High-Level and Low-Level Designs and translate them into executable integration plans.
• Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and fault isolation activities during deployment phases.
• Participate in customer workshops, providing technical insights and ensuring alignment between deployment progress and customer expectations.
• Deliver technical documentation and reports, including integration procedures, acceptance test reports, and system readiness checklists.
• Interface with R&D, product support, and local/global teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve deployment efficiency.
• Continuously share knowledge, contribute to best practice development, and support team growth through hands-on training and documentation.
  
  

The skills you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with the deployment and integration of Packet Core and Signaling & DRA solutions, particularly with 4G EPC and 5G Core architectures.
• Strong understanding of telecom core technologies, including MME, SGW/PGW, AMF/SMF, and DRA/STP platforms and Diameter protocols.
• Proficiency in Ericsson platforms (e.g., vEPC, 5GC nodes, DRA, STP) and associated integration tools and scripts.
• Ability to manage configurations, troubleshoot deployment issues, and work under tight project timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination with both internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed for on-site deployments, workshops, and customer support.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and continuous improvement.
