What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using products like Talend and Informatica
- Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth interoperability between applications
- Analyze, design, develop, and test message flows using integration technologies
- Utilize data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka for real-time processing
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to understand requirements and develop efficient solutions
- Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Diagnose and resolve ETL process issues and optimize performance
- Provide timely solutions for production problems related to integration processes, including root cause analysis and adherence to change management procedures and policies
- Participate in mandatory internal courses and professional training programs
- Set individual and group objectives with your direct manager
- Adhere to internal regulations, policies, and the Vodafone Code of Conduct
Who You Are
- Solid experience with ETL development products/solutions like Talend and Informatica
- Experience with replication process development products/solutions like IBM CDC, Oracle GoldenGate, and other data streaming technologies
- Proficiency with Java / J2EE, JSON, JMS, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL, ETL
- Strong SQL working knowledge with standard RDBMS servers - MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc
- Experience with RESTful API and SOAP API web services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trustful relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, and managers
- Comfortable working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Good time management skills
- Higher education (technical university studies) is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in enterprise-level integration implementation
- Proven experience in developing and delivering ETL solutions/processes
- Proven experience working in a development environment using methodologies like Agile and/or Waterfall and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Optional: 5 years of project delivery experience and solid knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps processes and tools
