RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Migration Developer Analyst in Los Angeles, CA.

Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Integration Developer Analyst to support the design, development, and maintenance of HL7 and other healthcare interfaces across clinical and operational systems. This role plays a vital part in the continuity of data flow across hospital systems and requires direct experience with interface engines like Cloverleaf and Rhapsody.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for clinical and operational interfaces across a complex healthcare ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface errors, data flow disruptions, and system integration issues in real time
  • Monitor and maintain HL7 interfaces, ensuring stability and accuracy of message transactions between systems
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support the integration of EHRs, lab systems, imaging, scheduling, and billing applications
  • Perform modifications, enhancements, and upgrades on existing interfaces using tools like Cloverleaf and Rhapsody
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and respond to high-priority incidents as needed
  • Maintain detailed documentation of integration workflows, mappings, and resolution procedures
  • Work with project teams to onboard new interfaces and contribute to system migrations or upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data standards
  • Analyze interface trends, recommend process improvements, and proactively monitor system performance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-7+ years of experience in interface development and support in a healthcare environment
  • Proficient with Cloverleaf and Rhapsody interface engines
  • Strong understanding of HL7, X12, and other standard healthcare data formats
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar
  • Experience working with scripting languages (e.g., TCL, JavaScript, or Shell)
  • Knowledge of secure data transmission methods (FTP/SFTP, VPN, APIs)
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills in production environments
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT and be comfortable managing interface issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in HL7, Rhapsody, or Cloverleaf are a plus
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations is highly preferred
  • Experience with interface migrations, upgrades, or data normalization projects
  • Exposure to FHIR, web services (REST/SOAP), or other modern data exchange standards
  • Experience working in 24/7 hospital or large healthcare provider environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
