Job Description

We are seeking an Integration Analyst & Developer with expertise in MuleSoft and other integration technologies to join American Tower’s Europe Information Technology (“IT”) team. The IT team delivers quality software solutions that provide measurable business value. This role is responsible for supporting, designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between enterprise applications, analyzing and resolving integration and data issues, and serving as an integration expert on IT projects. As an Integration Analyst & Developer, you will partner cross-functionally to streamline IT processes and improve the quality of customer services. Therefore, the incumbent must have the ability to connect the dots between business requirements & technical specifications, supporting functional & data analysis, sound understanding of integrations, supporting system development and ensuring effective execution.


This position can be based in Madrid (Spain) or Munich and Ratingen (Germany).


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Integration Architects to define integration requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft and other integration tools (e.g. Mulesoft, AnyPoint, etc.).
  • Ensure integrations align with best practices, security standards, and scalability requirements.
  • Develop and maintain API’s, data mappings, transformations, and workflows.
  • Ensure seamless communication and data flow across enterprise systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration failures, data mismatches, and performance issues.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for production incidents related to integrations.
  • Work with application teams and business users to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize integration performance to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Create or assist with creating and executing cross-functional test scripts to ensure minimal post-production issues.
  • Improve data quality by scrubbing raw data, analyzing data trends, and deriving patterns.
  • Create integrations catalog and align with capabilities, scalability, and risk matrix.
  • Support multiple applications or modules and multiple business groups.
  • Provide cross-functional support and share technical expertise across multiple business areas, including system and process integration points.
  • Facilitate the business and operational readiness for system deployments and process changes.
  • Ensure all outstanding work in the production ticket system as well as small project requests.


Profile

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 6-year of experience in system analysis, business analysis, application design, support analysis, configuration and implementation. Experience in tower industry, operations, leasing or real estate (preferred).
  • Understanding of IT and business concepts, being able to evaluate the impact of business changes on systems.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and cloud applications.
  • Experience with designing and documenting technical requirements and complex data flows.
  • Experience creating comprehensive documentation that covers source-to-target database mappings, logical and system-based business rules, data persistence/snapshotting, and security requirements.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results; in particular external and/or overseas development and testing groups (preferred).
  • Strong experience with MuleSoft, Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity.
  • Proven experience in integration development, API management, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration and API-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of integration security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and event-driven architectures.
  • Expertise with Oracle and SQL Server databases, and related tools such as SQL Developer.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for data analysis.
  • Understanding of relational databases and complex queries and table structures.
  • Experience in data integration between internal and external applications, including cloud solutions.
  • Experience working in a dimensional and relational data warehouse environment.
  • Experience working in a transactional data integration platform environment including data lake or operational data store architecture.
  • Experience with system data migration from heterogenous database applications and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex integration and data challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Detail oriented, ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Easily adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & German is a plus).
  • Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
