This is an onsite role in our Orlando office.
We are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our dynamic team at The DiSTI Corporation. The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling skills and demonstrate the desire to expand responsibilities within program management. This candidate will have a robust background in working on various dynamic programs and project scheduling and experience within the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Development: Create and manage a detailed, integrated project schedule incorporating all program activities, dependencies, milestones, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall program objectives.
EVM Implementation: Apply EVM principles to monitor project performance against the baseline schedule, evaluate program validity checks, and identify schedule variances and milestone status.
Critical Path Analysis:Utilize critical path methodology to pinpoint critical tasks within the schedule and identify areas where delays could significantly impact project completion.
Schedule Baseline Management:Establish and maintain a baseline schedule, identifying and managing schedule changes through a formal change control process.
Reporting and Analysis:Generate regular schedule status reports, including performance metrics, trend analysis, and risk assessments, to communicate project health to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in utilizing Microsoft project in program scheduling with at least 2 years in an EVMS environment.
Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Cobra software.
Strong understanding of schedule development, maintenance, and analysis within EVMS.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Active security clearance preferred or ability to obtain security clearance
