Our client an independent Insurance provider in Michigan and they have a booming group benefits department. They need an Account Manager for their small group; under 50 market (60-80 accounts). This is a client facing role with responsibilities including:

• Conduct OE (open enrollment) meetings, health fairs, webinars
• Client Facing: Employee meetings, enrollment meetings
• Respond to inquiries from clients/carriers
• Deliver Renewals
• Participate in pre-renewal, renewal and post renewal meetings
• Process carrier new business paperwork
• Update agents on client activity, issues and opportunities to develop further business
• Build relationships with client contacts and provide recommendations for plan changes, claims issues and renewal options
• Using MS Office Suite daily
• Technology use: Benefit Point & ImageRight (will be trained)

After training this role will be Hybrid. Rotating schedule is 1 week in the office 1 week home. When onsite they offer food trucks, summer and holiday outings, and a pet friendly environment (you can participate with your pet after 6 months). They want to offer a strong team environment where you can be supported and collaborative.

Salary is based on Education/trainings and industry experience ($60-$70K base) + 3 different bonuses (Holiday, cross selling, and performance base)
