The responsibilities for the I&C Engineer include:

Researching, designing, and developing devices and components for process controls.

• Prepare specifications, design-bid documentation.
• Assist with the design and modification of new and existing process control and instrumentation systems.
• Assist in the development of instrumentation standards to ensure selection compliance across multiple facilities.
• Assist I&C construction activities – identify deficiencies with respect to national standards and project specifications.
• Witness I&C testing

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge/experience of National Electric Code
• Demonstrate knowledge of Functional Safety (IEC 61508/61511 & SIL levels)
• Hands-on troubleshooting
• Knowledge and experience with the selection of Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flow Meters and other instruments used in Process Control.
• 5 plus years’ PLC programming and configuration experience, in a process environment, using automation products
• 5 plus years’ experience performing setup, testing and commissioning Instrumentation
