Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience and a solid academic foundation, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced control systems in strict accordance with international standards and local regulations. Candidates with oil and gas industry experience will have a significant advantage in managing high-pressure, safety-critical environments. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. As an Instrumentation and Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and Implementing Control Systems: Leading the design, installation, and integration of control systems and instrumentation.
• Testing & Commissioning: Overseeing the rigorous testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure seamless process automation.
• Daily Operations: Monitoring system performance, promptly diagnosing issues, and collaborating with the engineering team to enhance overall system efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Implementation:

• Develop and implement advanced instrumentation and control systems tailored to diverse industrial applications.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate control frameworks into broader engineering projects.

Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance:

• Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with quality standards.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation and ongoing system maintenance phases.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare, review, and manage technical documentation including design specifications, schematics, and control logic diagrams.
• Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and local Qatari guidelines.

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyse system performance data to drive continuous improvements and innovation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in instrumentation and control engineering.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with instrumentation and control systems in industrial or similar settings.

Academic Qualification:

• A Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven expertise in design, analysis, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools for system design and simulation.
• Familiarity with control system hardware and integration methodologies, Industrial Automation, and AI solutions is a plus

Relevant Industry Experience:

• Oil and gas industry background will be considered a significant advantage, adding valuable experience in high-pressure and safety-critical environments.

Certifications (Desirable):

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ISA certification) and adherence to IEC standards are advantageous.
