This position is to work as Instructor at Bulloch-Candler Service Center, located in Statesboro, GA. The primary purpose of the Instructor I is to support Individuals diagnosed with an intellectual development disability and/or co-occurring mental health disorder in living a meaningful and inclusive life in the community. Focusing on the following areas: Self- help, language development, perceptual motor development, simple academics and/or vocational/work activities. Provides a comprehensive educational functional training and/or program to individuals, may assist with meal preparations, field trips, provide transportation, ensure individual participation and other activities. Must be able to document in client records. Preferred qualifications are one year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individual in human services OR an Associate degree in a related field OR one year experience at the lover level or position equivalent. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and/or an Associates degree, possess a valid GA drivers license, and acceptable MVR, a clean criminal history and a negative drug screen.
