The candidate will be responsible for teaching and service activities within the Department. The role will be roughly 80% teaching and 20% service. Teaching: The desired area of teaching expertise is strategic management. The individual selected will teach strategic management as a regular part of their teaching assignment. In addition, the individual should be able to teach in a supplementary area such as principles of management, business ethics, or international management. Service: The individual selected will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to collegiality and shared governance. As a part of this role, the individual will undertake service for the benefit of the department or college, such as being as a advisor to a student organization, participating in academic events, engaging with students, alumni, and corporations as a representative of the department, and/or serving on departmental or college committees as needed.
