Instructional Designer

Industry: Fortune 500 Healthcare Company

Location: Minneapolis, MN (REMOTE)

Duration: 8-month contract

Pay rate: $30-$35/hr

Overview:

The Instructional Designer will create new eLearning courses and education and training support for FTEs and contractors that fulfill HEDIS operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SME and key stakeholders to obtain and develop training content
• Identify and design the appropriate training solutions to meet training requirements and business needs
• Create self-study courses using our company's training technologies Oracle and Articulate
• Support Sharepoint content development and maintenance activities
• Review work performed or developed by others and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 of years of instructional design experience with proven experience in utilizing various systems/software to design and develop eLearning and self-learning resources

- Minimum of 2 years HEDIS healthcare or other related field experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing learning and communication platforms

- Demonstrated ability to train and/or communicate complex subject matter and/or systems

- Excellent communication and writing skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to focus activities toward a strategic direction achieve targets and meet deadlines

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills including ability to be flexible in a dynamic and rapid change environment

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a workgroup environment

- Demonstrated ability utilizing training technologies effectively

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

- BS/BA Degree

- Project management experience

- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360 software

- Proficiency with SharePoint design and administration

- Experience working with HEDIS software vendors

- Experience working with HEDIS Auditors

- Experience in medical record review
