Key responsibilities:

As an Instructional Designer you will directly support our core internal upskilling learning programs by building learning resources and interactive instructional material. This includes:

• Applying core instructional design principles and being able to understand which learning theory applies the best to maximize the use of learning resources, learner engagement and transfer on the job
• Storyboarding and constructing interactive learning material (e-learning, microlearning, assessments, checklists, video, audio, simulations, role-plays, games) currently using Articulate Rise and Storyline, or some newly introduced software
• Involvement in the ongoing and new learning resources development projects which you will be expected to own, plan and maintain, as well as keep the course documentation up to date, all using basic project management skills
• Communication and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts for content development and translation of business needs into effective learning objectives using strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as critical and systems thinking skills
• Managing existing and new learning communities by interacting and communicating news and updates with our employees

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

Required:

• Learning and instructional design skills with an in-depth understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories and following instructional design trends
• Flexibility and a growth mindset towards innovation
• Strongly solution-oriented and result-driven
• Proven previous experience in instructional design (mid-level), storyboarding and use of e-learning development software Articulate Rise and Storyline
• Experience in moderating conversations with Subject Matter
• Experts applying communication, presentation, critical and systems thinking skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio / video scripts
• Strong prioritization and basic project management skills
• Ability to navigate learning management systems.
• English language skills (C1 level minimum)

Preferred:

• Bachelor or Master in instructional design, educational technology or similar
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with photo, video, and audio editing
• Ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
