The District is seeking candidates for Instructional Coordinators assigned to support the Golden State Pathways Program in collaboration with the Office of Graduation and the San Diego Community San Diego Community College District, regional workforce partners, and industry stakeholders. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the general direction of the assigned department or division head, the Instructional Coordinator assigned to support the Golden State Pathways Program will coordinate and provide leadership and direction to site administrators and school teams in one or more areas of curriculum and/ or compliance; evaluate and supervise the work of assigned certificated and classified staff.  The Instructional Coordinator assigned to support the Golden State Pathways Program will coordinate program initiatives, oversee grant applications and compliance, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure program alignment with state workforce development goals and postsecondary education pathways. This position is key in expanding student access to dual enrollment, college and career technical education (CCTE), and work-based learning experiences. There are a total of six (6) positions to support the Office of Graduation and the Golden State Pathways Program that will be located at each of the following High Schools; * Canyon Hills High School - 5156 Santo Road, San Diego, CA 92124 * Clairemont High School - 4150 Ute Dr,. San Diego, CA 92117 * La Jolla High School - 750 Nautilus St, S.D., CA 92037 * Logan Memorial Educational Campus - 2875 Oceanview Blvd, San Diego, CA 92113 * Madison High School - 4833 Doliva Drive, San Diego, CA 92117 * Scripps Ranch High School - 10410 Falcon Way, San Diego, CA 92131  POSITION SPECIFICS: * Working locations are based out of the District High Schools. E = Essential Functions * Coordinate and provide leadership and direction to site administrators and school teams in one or more areas of curriculum and/ or compliance. E * Provide support to site administrators in order to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as District policy and procedure; assist with audits. E * Assist in the coordination and evaluation of coaching cycles and professional development offered by the assigned department or division; recommend teaching techniques and the use of different and/ or new technologies. E * Lead assigned curriculum development projects and lead the implementation of new and/ or revised curriculum based on state standards. E * Plan, organize and conduct teacher and site administrator professional development. E * Assist in the formulation and development of policies, procedures, and programs for the assigned department or division. E * Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records, and files related to assigned activities and personnel; participate on district committees. E * Assist site administrators and school teams evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and/ or teaching techniques; conduct observations and research, gather and evaluate data to provide support and feedback. E * Communicate with other administrators, personnel, and outside organizations to coordinate activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts, and exchange information; develop procedures to encourage effective and efficient management controls within assigned area. E * Perform related duties as assigned. In addition to the job duties listed above, in support of the Golden State Pathways Program, the incumbent will be expected to: * Lead the strategic planning and implementation of college and career pathways aligned with regional labor market needs at the assigned high school site.  * Attend monthly meetings with the Office of Graduation to review progress and assess pathway implementation. * Expand student access to A-G coursework, dual enrollment programs, and high-growth career technical education (CTE) pathways. * Integrate work-based learning opportunities in collaboration with industry partners, including paid internships, pre-apprenticeships, and apprenticeships. * Oversee pathway articulation, including curriculum alignment and master schedule development. * Facilitate seamless transitions from K-12 to postsecondary education and workforce training programs. * Meet with the San Diego Community College District during scheduled meetings along with the College, Career, and Access Pathway Liaison.  To view the detailed position description for Instructional Coordinator, click here. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to a Master's degree and seven (7) years of TK- 12 teaching experience.
