The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our Construction Services team as a Project Manager. This role combines the expertise required for overseeing the installation of active and passive fall protection systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to drive projects to completion on time and on budget.
What does this job entail?
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our installation crew, ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed, and that the quality of installations meets the highest standards. You will work closely with our Sales and Engineering teams to communicate client requirements, provide updates, manage scheduling, address any escalations, and consider cost implications. Efficient use of NetSuite software to streamline customer interactions and enhance the overall client experience. You will also be responsible for planning and facilitating detailed project schedules, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and maintaining comprehensive project progress reports.

- Manage Multiple projects at the same time across the country.
- Travel can be up to 30%.
- Conducting daily team meetings to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Reviewing and approving project plans and timelines to ensure they are realistic and achievable.
- Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to project plans.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to secure necessary materials and services.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
- Providing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve project success and meet the company's goals.
Are you qualified?
- High school diploma required; some post-high school education or additional training preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in construction or a similar field, with at least 2 years in management and over-the-road travel.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and NetSuite software.
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Strong organizational skills to mitigate project challenges and ensure seamless operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders, building trust and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and navigate complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
