Job Description
This role is customer-facing role for someone to travel to customer sites near major metropolis areas who are building or upgrading their manufacturing supply chain and/or automation production systems. Will oversee the product implementation by employees and contractors at the client facilities. Includes scheduling, planning, assignment of contractors, overseeing, negotiating with subcontractors.

Be the liaison for the customer to all the engineering, installation, and fabrication groups who create their products. May also occasionally assist in the installation procedures, and would require someone with a mechanical or electrical engineering aptitude or some education.

Gather and track a lot of data of equipment, installation, and implementation to share with other engineers, and also create data reporting.

This role will require 90% travel to customer sites for the duration of a client implementation of their systems.


Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems implementations or field service support for automated material handling systems
• Experience with managing or overseeing industrial engineering projects
• Experience with reading and understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Identifying parts lists.
  • Understanding industrial layout from drawings for the facility.
• AutoCAD
• MS Office, MS Project
• Familiar with industrial automated supply chain systems such as: stacker cranes, conveyors, AGV's.
• Associate's Degree in a technical field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering studies
