Role Description
The role of an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to sell products to new and existing customers and assigned accounts while growing Olander Sales Revenue. Duties include communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring an efficient sales process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support Olander sales by providing an excellent customer experience through timely and accurate quotations, technical information, and moving opportunities through the sales process while contributing to top line growth by meeting or exceeding the sales target.
Respond to requests for quotes via email and phone calls and communicate price breaks to customers.
Enter orders per customer specifications and track the fulfillment process to completion.
Make proactive outreach calls to customers daily (per established requirements) to generate interest, qualify prospects, and close sales. Record activity into the ERP/CRM.
Account Nurturing of pre-determined customers in an effort to increase business on top accounts.
Establish, review regularly, and measure quarterly goals with manager.
Adhere to compliance, quality, and purchasing requirements.
Review all purchase orders for payment terms, conditions, or special provisions that conflict with standard Olander terms of business.
Work with the Compliance team on T&Cs per PO and create quotes based upon requirements.
Respond to customers via telephone, email, answering RFQs, and handling basic problems about products and order status in a timely manner and record data in ERP.
Increase sales year over year as determined by company goals.
Pursue professional growth by acquiring fastener product and application knowledge, selling skills, and certifications relevant to position and company objectives.
Listen and utilize a strategic approach to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions considering customers’ needs. Educate yourself on customer’s business to better communicate the value of partnering with Olander.
Respond to customer return requests (RMA’s) in a professional and timely manner, reporting all RMAs as directed.
Attend meetings, webinars, participate in technical conventions and expos, and attend vendor training seminars.
Get current pricing for out-of-stock non-stockable items.
Provide backup to other sales team members as assigned for absences and overflow.
Provide Counter Sales/Will Call backup support as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company data.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
