Shelving Inc. is looking for an energetic and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our company. This position is responsible for prospecting and generating new business opportunities within a designated territory. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to work hard. Job Responsibilities Selling our products and provide product information by responding to customers inquiries via phone and email Identify, contact, and develop customer contacts; build relationships with key business partners in your territory; and qualify new business opportunities. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by following up with prospects and partners. Work with sales engineers to understand opportunities in the marketplace and identify solutions that will help the company achieve its goals. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, progress, and opportunities. Participate in internal meetings to review overall business performance, strategic plans, and other departmental initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of inside sales experience in a technology company or related field preferred. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Computer skills required for this position: required for knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential; Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
