PD International is a Canadian based company which specializes in developing and manufacturing innovative products for the recreational powersports and automotive industries. PDI was founded as a company specializing in automotive drivetrain components, however, over the years this has diversified into other powersports segments. PDI currently focuses heavily on developing and manufacturing products for the off-road aftermarket. Over the last few years the off-road segment of the company has been growing rapidly as evidenced by continually increasing sales of both our main brands, Demon Powersports and Rugged ATV/UTV components. Currently PDI is a market leader in the ATV and UTV market for heavy duty performance components under its Demon Powersports brand.


The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is focused on Business-to-Business ("B2B") sales, managing several key accounts, and assisting with regular day-to-day inbound sales inquiries, which involves working with dealerships, wholesalers, corporate relationships, and individual clients/users of our products ("B2C"). The role will be the primary contact for larger client relationships, be required to produce renewal quotes and customer contracts, and be able to source/build new relationships within our industry. Additionally, you will be responsible for inbound calls, emails, and inquiries, and ensure that databases and sales data are kept up-to-date. Strong (CRM) database management, Microsoft Excel, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively present and communicate sales data for both internal and external use. The successful candidate will be required to learn about our products, provide ongoing maintenance and customer service to existing clients, and highlight the value of our products to customers. Concurrently the incumbent will be responsible for identifying and conducting gap analysis and process improvement.


Job Duties

· Develop on going lead generation and pipelines through innovation and customer insight to gain new maintenance renewal contracts, while continuously selling the high value of PDI’s products

· Process Sales orders, RUSH orders and back orders on daily basis with a very structured process flow to ensure sales pipelines are maintained

· Keeping databases up to date, including but not limited to sales orders status, customer lists, etc., with thorough knowledge on Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, and the ability to consolidate and present this data are important technical aspects to the role

· Providing exceptional service by reaching out and building strong customer relationships while providing a consultative and proactive process to produce competitive renewal quotes.

· Consult with internal sales team to prepare renewal quotes, overcome objections through process of negotiation and adjust quote as required to ensure competitiveness of the solution being presented to the customer

· Maintain and update reporting systems to utilize for research and provide accurate forecasts within a sales support territory

· Utilize high attention to detail to review and process incoming purchase orders and payments.

· Consistently look to enhance renewal processes and procedures while working to achieve an exceptional team environment.


Job Requirements

· 3+ years experience working in a sales-oriented, lead generation or renewals environment

· University/College degree within a related discipline or equivalent work experience

· Exceptional communication both written and verbal, with the ability to listen and understand client needs and focus the content

· Ability to think outside the box when researching leads for expanding new maintenance contracts and finding new and creative ways to show how our products can help the client achieve their goals

· Strong desire in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with client

· Ability to work cross-functionally with a dynamic team who rely on each other to achieve overall corporate goals

· Goal-oriented, positive, a self-starter, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills

· Track record of autonomy, ownership and execution

· Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively

· Proven experience working in a fluid environment that is ever growing and changing


Compensation

Base Pay of $60,000 + Bonus & Commission Structure
