Our Newmarket office is hiring an Inside Sales Representative (salary + commission) to help us bring innovative solutions.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify and close strategic advertising partnerships with leading brand/performance-based advertisers or agencies that help ensure long-term success for the company
  • Develop and grow repeat business from existing advertising customers, partners and agencies
  • Understand client needs, anticipate future goals, and help determine ideal solutions
  • Manage expectations at all levels and demonstrate a proactive and consultative approach in addressing client needs
  • Effectively communicate and partner with all internal staff members as a team to meet and exceed advertisers' needs and beat the competition
  • Advocate for The MARC Group’s ad platform products, rich media solutions, and creative services


Day-to-Day

  • Prospecting and building a pipeline of potential advertisers while meeting and exceeding annual goals
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, follow-up calls and emails
  • Close sales and achieve weekly quotas/goals
  • Liaise with colleagues and management to increase and diversify demand
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, and recommending new opportunities


Desired Skills & Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably inside sales
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Fast learner with a passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Sports-minded, competitive, outgoing, and energetic individual
  • Must be fluent in the English language with no limitation
  • Strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure independently
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under minimal supervision
