Summary

Summary

Works with the business development department to administer and support all sales and market development efforts. Maintains relationships with field sales personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submission and is responsible for maintaining accurate reports for forecasting and tracking business development efforts. This role will be responsible for working with product management, field service, finance, channel sales, manufacturing, and product development teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer and business development team inquiries.
  • Respond to all RFQ’s.
  • Prepare quotations and formal proposals.
  • Coordinate bid submission packages.
  • Support customer satisfaction program as required.
  • Evaluate and analyze historical, pipeline, and forecast data for trends.
  • Maintain price lists to ensure they are accurate and scalable.
  • Ensure timely receipt and deployment of customer feedback to enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Assist in the development and establishment of the Company’s quotation policy and procedures: the procedures are to be incorporated with CRM and ERP Systems.
  • Complete vendor qualification/information packages.
  • Track commission payments.
  • Update and Distribute Competitive Price Sheet.
  • Maintain Project Tracking Report.
  • Distribute new/updated materials to stranders, distributors, reps, and BD team as necessary.
  • Coordinate customer visits to the Irvine facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications preferred.
  • 4 to 5 years of coordinating/managing quotations, contract negotiations, customer service, or similar activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-organized and able to perform multiple tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
  • International business experience preferred.
  • Experience with a technology company preferred.
  • Ability to liaise with executive management.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Excel and Word programs.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excel knowledge and experience must include ODBC interfaces, Pivot Tables, advanced database functions, and advanced text manipulation functions.
  • Self-starter; aggressive with high energy level.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions to gain consensus on pricing, contract terms, customer service strategy and implementation.
  • Ability to integrate company strategies and objectives.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to see big picture while effectively managing details.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, and demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership over increasingly larger projects.
