Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service within our environment. This position requires strong multitasking abilities and a passion for the industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and updates.

Process incoming and outgoing parts orders efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Assist customers with inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and specifications.

Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts for repairs.

Utilize Excel for tracking inventory data and generating reports as needed.

Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.

Provide support in retail sales by promoting parts and accessories to customers.

Maintain a clean and organized parts department for optimal workflow.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred.

Strong skills in inventory management and retail math are essential.

Familiarity with starters is a plus.

Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing.

Microsoft Office experience a plus.

Quickbooks experience a plus.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
