We are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Molding Setup Technician to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely setup and operation of injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment, ensuring all machines and jobs meet company standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install molds and set up equipment according to company specifications
• Start and restart injection molding presses in compliance with operating procedures
• Troubleshoot and correct molding and secondary issues to maintain product quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area after each setup
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
• Identify and suggest process improvements using 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn all aspects of plastic injection molding methods and processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Basic computer literacy; experience with production monitoring software is a plus
• Forklift certification or ability to operate a forklift is required

Equipment Experience (Preferred):

• Forklifts, tool carts, hot stampers, sonic welders, meters, overhead cranes

Safety Requirements:

• Comply with all plant safety rules and regulations
• PPE required: safety glasses in plant areas, optional hearing protection unless specified, steel-toe boots recommended
