Summary

Main Job purpose

We are looking for general maintenance. MUST HAVE injection molding experienced preferably on Van Dorn, Cincinnati Milacron and ARUBRG ALL ROUNDER with robotic system, Crain, Forklift and CNC AUTO AND MANUAL LATH MACHINS included EDM general electrical and hydraulic mechanical and housekeeping after and before any task and must keeping everything in order, CLEAN and organized and tag all equipment’s that needed.

  • Maintain hydraulic and electric injection molding machines and secondary processing equipment

Work closely with the Operations

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses and work boots. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Maintain injection molding machines that require hydraulic and some electric troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
  • Read and understand equipment schematics and drawings
  • Meet with the Production Supervisor to ensure that all equipment is available and functioning properly.
  • Make sure that the Daily Activity Logs, scheduled P.M.’s and check sheets are completed in detail
  • Ensures that information regarding equipment needing attention and/or parts needed to make repairs are passed on to the proper persons
  • Ensures that all trouble calls are responded to in a timely and effective manner
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Reviews the status of all open maintenance request daily.
  • Wear appropriate safety attire for work area assigned. (Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Gloves, Shoes, Respirator, and Clothing)
  • Closely adhere to LOTO and safety manual policies
  • Ensure all company policies surrounding health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • General understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems for process machinery
  • Prior experience in a shop environment with daily hands-on tasks
  • Ability to work independently.

Education

  • High School diploma or GED
