About the Role

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer with a strong foundation in infrastructure engineering and a keen interest in security. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable working across general infrastructure domains but is now looking to dive deeper into the world of cybersecurity. You’ll work alongside our infrastructure and security teams to help assess risks, secure our platforms and tooling, and ensure our firewall configurations and access controls are up to standard. What You’ll Do

• Conduct security risk assessments on existing infrastructure and new projects
• Improve the security posture of infrastructure platforms and operational tools
• Review, manage, and optimize firewall configurations
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and security teams to implement security best practices
• Help define and roll out security controls and monitoring across the infra stack
• Stay current with evolving security threats and contribute to response plans

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience as a generalist infrastructure or systems engineer
• Familiarity with networking, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines
• Some exposure to security concepts, tools, or practices (e.g., vulnerability management, IAM, firewall rules)
• A strong desire to learn more about cybersecurity and grow in this domain
• Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to Have

• Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
• Knowledge of common security tools (e.g., Nessus, OSSEC, WAFs)
• Prior involvement in security incident response or audits
