Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver critical infrastructure projects across our technology landscape. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing stability of our core systems, including but not limited to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Microsoft services, network infrastructure, and data centers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders, to drive projects from initiation through to successful completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Understand the technical complexities of infrastructure projects and facilitate technical discussions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders, including senior management. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation plans and escalate appropriately when necessary.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within allocated financial resources.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors. Ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet project timelines.
  • Change Management: Implement effective change management processes to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions during project implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Facilitate testing and validation processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and lessons learned.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework and contribute to the development of best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing technical infrastructure projects, including experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Microsoft services, networking, and/or data center technologies.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience managing project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2, Agile certifications).
  • Required Technical Acumen
  • Cloud (AWS / Azure) – Understand core compute, storage, networking; landing-zone governance & IAM; basic IaC (Terraform/Bicep); HA/DR patterns; cost-control tagging.
  • Microsoft Services – Working knowledge of M365 (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange), Entra ID/SSO, Defender + Sentinel security, and Azure DevOps/GitHub pipelines.
  • Networking – Solid grasp of subnetting, routing, load-balancing, firewalls, SD-WAN, and standard monitoring/telemetry methods.
  • Data-Center & Virtualization – Familiar with VMware/Hyper-V stacks, hyper-converged gear, rack/power basics, and backup/DR tools (e.g., Veeam, Zerto).
  • Cross-Cutting – Comfortable with ITIL change/release, security & compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, MAS TRM), modern observability platforms, and vendor/SLA management.
  • Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects for Singapore Government agencies (IM8/MAS TRM compliant) and for major commercial enterprises, demonstrating ability to navigate both regulated public-sector and fast-paced commercial operating models.
