Job Title: Infrastructure Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Infrastructure Engineering Project Manager with over 10 years of hands-on experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects. This role will oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives including data center migrations, network upgrades, cloud transformations, end-user services, and enterprise system rollouts.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of infrastructure domains, deep project governance expertise, and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale IT infrastructure projects such as:
• Data center migrations
• Network and security infrastructure upgrades
• Cloud adoption (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Hardware refreshes and virtualization
• Enterprise system rollout programs
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, third-party vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including:
• Project plans and schedules
• Budget and resource allocations
• Risk and communication plans
• Drive timely and quality project execution while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions align with operational, security, and compliance standards.
• Track KPIs, generate executive dashboards, and deliver progress updates to senior leadership.
• Manage vendor engagements and procurement processes.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and governance routines.
• Handle change management, interdependencies, and escalations effectively.
• Provide mentorship to junior project managers and coordinators.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management.
• Deep technical knowledge across infrastructure domains including:
• Networking
• Servers and storage
• Virtualization
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Backup & DR solutions
• End-user technologies
• Proven success in managing large-scale, global infrastructure programs with multimillion-dollar budgets.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, ServiceNow).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation certification or hands-on experience with IT service management frameworks.
• Experience leading infrastructure transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Background in managing infrastructure for regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare).
• Exposure to automation and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a strong plus.
