Our client is an international technology managed services company that specialises in network infrastructure and cloud security services to their esteemed clients. They are well-known for their dedication of quality delivery standards with an international presence in over 25 countries worldwide and are looking out for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Location: Tai Wai

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily operational health checks for the IT infrastructure.
• Monitor alarms & report to customer via email/mobile (if any major severity seen.)
• Patch management and ensure that the environment is bug/vulnerable free by keeping system with up-to-date software.
• Creation of change request plan and submit to customer operation manager or supervisor for review and approval.
• Maintain, track and update physical and logical diagram changes and all cabling/ patching records.
• Prepare and provide monthly equipment status (system events, severity alerts, violations, overall status, etc..) report to customer.
• Troubleshoot production issues and network/security/system problems to fix any infra related issues within the proposed timelines.
• Perform L3 escalation to appointed partner and/or principal vendor.
• Perform health checks for the critical environments and ensure the systems running up to the standard and no potential failures.
• Able to follow and meet customer SLA for all the incidents and requests.
• Providing timely updates to customer and service delivery manager for allocated support cases.
• Administrative tasks including raising Incident Tickets, Change Request (CH), Service Request (SR) and updating of master equipment inventory list once new equipment is deployed or RMAed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 – 5 years’ IT Infrastructure Engineer work experience
• Strong in communication skills to liaise with customers and vendors
• Keen sense of urgency for production and infra related issues
