Environment - Hybrid

Pay Rate - $40 to $50 per hour on W2 with Benefits

Salary Conversion - $75,000 to $95,000

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. You'll play a critical role in managing, maintaining, and building modern Microsoft-based infrastructure environments. This position is ideal for someone passionate about working with cutting-edge technologies, eager to build new systems, and ready to help shape the future of IT.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, and optimize Windows Server environments.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Entra ID identity services. (Must Have Hands on experience at a High Level)
  • Configure and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to maintain system and user environment standards. (Must Have Hands on experience at a High Level)
  • Support and troubleshoot Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.
  • Manage Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related administration tasks. (Must Have Hands onm experience at a High Level)
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain virtual environments using VMware and Hyper-V platforms. (Must Have Hands on experience at a High Level)
  • Implement, monitor, and support services within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
  • Assist in building new infrastructure, including greenfield and hybrid environments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and deploy new tools and services.
  • Document environment changes, configurations, and procedures.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and incident response as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, and Office 365 administration.
  • Solid understanding of Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
  • Experience administering Azure infrastructure services (VMs, storage, networking).
  • Familiarity with Remote Desktop Services configuration and support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, identity, cloud, and server issues.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or equivalent).
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, CLI) for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with hybrid identity solutions and cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of modern security best practices in identity and access management.
