We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team. Check out more details below. What you'll do * Implement, monitor, operate and optimize on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure systems. * Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues as they arise. * Participate in short- and long-term project planning and implementation processes. * Develop and implement plans and procedures for the support and maintenance of systems through tasks such as backups and patching. * Communicate with infrastructure team, project managers, and IT leadership on the status of infrastructure systems and projects. * Follows all applicable laws and regulations. * Performs other duties and projects as assigned. What you'll bring * Bachelor's degree and 4 years of IT Operations experience or 6 years of IT experience. * Excellent knowledge of system administration, specifically in a Microsoft enterprise environment with Office 365. * Significant experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, both on-prem and Azure. * Experience implementing and maintaining automation tools and environments. * Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other similar automation programming languages. * Experience with VMWare and/or other virtualization software. * Experience with SAN hardware. * Experience with backup and recovery solutions. * Excellent verbal and written business communication skills. * Sound judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills. * Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal forms, using technical and non-technical terminology. * Ability to work in a team environment. * Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to working outside of normal business hours. Bonus Points * Previous experience with public cloud technology, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS * Previous experience managing network hardware and appliances, including routers and switches, and security devices. * Experience working with a ticket system and/or within an ITSM framework * Certifications related to experience in network or system administration, ITIL, or related.
