POSITION OVERVIEW

This role centers on overseeing tech infrastructure setup and upgrades, safeguarding digital assets, maintaining an organizational web presence, and equipping users with necessary system knowledge.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

• Acts as the primary contact between the organization and its cybersecurity services provider.
• Plans, executes, and manages IT-related functions, ensuring seamless technology operations across the board.
• Works directly with staff to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Sets up and configures secure connectivity systems, including VPNs, LANs, and WANs.
• Oversees the organization’s wireless setup and continuously tracks network health and performance.
• Deploys foundational cybersecurity protocols to safeguard systems and sensitive information.
• Maintains updated system recovery processes and data backup protocols.
• Administers the organization’s digital platforms, particularly its main web presence.
• Analyzes site performance metrics and proposes backend improvements to enhance stability, responsiveness, and security.
• Ensures seamless interaction between web assets and internal systems or automated tools.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing content management systems, especially as a backend administrator.
• Must have a strong command of WordPress development, including theme customization and API integration.
• Minimum of five years in systems administration and website lifecycle management (including design changes, security updates, and technical maintenance).
• Familiarity with integrating web platforms with CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot is highly desirable.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning tools like NetSuite is a significant asset.
• Awareness of Department of Defense cybersecurity frameworks (such as CMMC) is advantageous.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
