Must Haves:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related IT field (4 additional years of experience in leu of degree)
• 8-10 years of experience working within a support function/IT role
• 5+ of those years as a Computer Engineer completing system integrations for a program/project
• Experience working within a Windows environment
• Experience developing/building drawing and material
• Knowledge of Visio
• Active DoD Security Clearance

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Computer Engineer in support of one of are large federal clients in Albuquerque, NM. This candidate will support a mobile communication platform by providing the system and technical expertise needed to sustain and migrate it. They will oversee the Windows-based software platform in order to ensure an integrated network environment across multiple classification levels for the customer. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

• Creates and develops new computer systems.
• Evaluates current hardware and designs systems for compatibility, especially with MS Exchange, Active Directory, and DNS.
• Solves complex design issues by testing and modifying models.
• Oversees the design and integration of computer systems, including independent technical investigations.
• Conducts site surveys and analyzes Operations Centers (OC) capabilities.
• Ensures installation standards are followed.
• Installs and integrates Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment.
• Creates drawings, user guides, test plans, procedures, and other documentation
