Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 1-year contract position with one of our direct clients based in St. Paul, MN (Hybrid).

Rate Range: $65-70/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

Tasks:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and strategic vision for large, complex, integrated projects/programs.
• Provide clear and attainable project plans and work tasks across multiple projects.
• Create and manage project constraints of scope, time, cost, and risk across multiple projects.
• Develop and foster effective communications among all stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Conduct feasibility reviews of potential new services and contributing partners.
• Manage project changes, as required.
• Ensure business objectives are met.

Requirement:

• Five (5) years of Project Management experience.
• One (1) year of experience using remote collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etc.
• Four (4) years of direct experience as a senior/lead manager in multiple project areas.
• Project Management certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP.
• Experience with all aspects of the Project Management Office (PMO) lifecycle, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Product Management Lifecycle (PML).
• Experience with different project methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, etc.
• Strong organizational and communication skills. Must have experience with conflict management.
• Must have working knowledge of risk management and change management processes.
• Ability to effectively facilitate, lead, and communicate across the organization (IT and business), with teams and senior management.
• Government experience is highly desired.
