Job Title: IT Program Manager

Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 days on-site per week)

Job Type: Starting as a 6-Month Contract

Pay Range: $60–$70 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity:

STONE Resource Group is partnering with a leading global financial services organization to hire a IT Program Manager. In this role, you’ll lead complex cross-functional initiatives and deliver business-critical programs that influence enterprise-wide strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with strong program management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex strategic initiatives.
• Define and manage program scope, goals, deliverables, risks, issues, and budgets.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align programs with organizational goals.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and quarterly planning across multiple delivery teams.
• Own and manage risk mitigation, dependency resolution, and status reporting.
• Monitor progress against milestones and success metrics; present updates to leadership.
• Support team-level budget and time tracking activities.
• Contribute to security exception and audit planning processes as needed.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in program management, RTE, or technical project leadership.
• Proven ability to lead high-impact programs in Agile environments across multiple BUs.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration across delivery and technical teams.
• Ability to forecast resources, manage complex timelines, and communicate with executive stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with change management and delivery optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Cloud certification (GCP, AWS, or Azure) strongly preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in financial services, technology, or large-scale enterprise programs.
• Familiarity with security compliance or risk governance activities.
• Deep understanding of Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strategic planning and consulting mindset with a passion for driving outcomes.
