Summary

Position: – IT Operations Support.

Work Mode: Permanent Full Time - Work From Office

Pay out: $65,000 to 75,000 per year + Super

Job Summary:


The IT Operations Support is responsible for overseeing daily IT support operations, ensuring the team delivers exceptional technical support to end-users. This role involves managing the IT support team, implementing efficient support processes, resolving escalated issues, and driving continuous improvement to maintain system and service reliability.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership & Management


  • Supervise and lead the IT support team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on expertise and workload.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and problem-solving.


Operations & Service Delivery


  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor and report performances.


Technical Support


  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced IT problems related to hardware, software, network, and applications.


Continuous Improvement


  • Analyze support trends to identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and training.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or changes to support systems.
  • Drive automation and optimization initiatives to enhance team productivity.


Communication & Collaboration


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding IT support.
  • Liaise with vendors and external partners to resolve issues and improve service quality.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other departments.


Requirements:


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support. (At least 2 years in Australia)

  • Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
