Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Data Analyst intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, data management, and IT operations within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain data reports and dashboards to provide insights on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of data management systems and databases.
- Document data processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends and patterns.
- Assist in the development and deployment of data collection systems and strategies.
- Participate in data governance and compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or in a related field
- A GPA of 3.0 or above
- Applicants should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation, and an understanding of how to apply various technical resources
- Applicants should have the ability to perform tasks such as operating systems and application software installations and upgrades, as well as virus protection and eradication
- Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suites
- Ability to exercise good judgment and effectiveness in working with a high performing team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
