Responsibilities

• Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
• Oversee the performance of the existing technology stack, implement proactive solutions to address any issues, and enhance system reliability and uptime.
• Develop strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
• Maintain, upgrade, and optimize office IT systems, networking, physical security systems, hardware, and software.
• Proactively monitor and address potential system issues to ensure uninterrupted performance.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Ensure seamless integration between platforms and user accessibility.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance application security, performance, and user experience.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and cost-effective.
• Proactively evaluate vendor solutions to optimize IT investments.
• Lead initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required.
• 5+ years of experience in the administration of information systems and technology.
• Strong experience with networking, server management (Windows, Linux, etc.), and virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, SAP, GCP)
• Proficiency in cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with IT monitoring tools, backup solutions, and IT support management platforms.
• Familiarity with database management, storage systems, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A startup mentality that is agile and willing to experiment.
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin strongly preferred.
