What you'll do
As a Niron IT Engineer, this position will provide technology services for the company across the IT landscape (e.g. hardware, software, networking, telephony, technology-acquisitions, audio/visual.) This position will troubleshoot and diagnose by working closely with our end-users with excellent customer service and clear communication. This position is a critical backbone by overseeing process, policy, and training documentation to ensure compliance and adherence to policies. By working across our systems and infrastructure, the IT Engineer will collaborate with various internal teams and vendors.
* Technical Support and Maintenance
* Provide end-user support by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to hardware, network equipment, service centers, infrastructure and enterprise applications
* Build, configure, and deploy new or replacement technology hardware, such as desktops, laptops, peripherals, telephones, etc.
* IT Governance Oversight
* Ensure Niron's Information Systems Security processes, workflows, and tools are utilized and adhered to according to policies
* Review policies and procedures, property security mechanisms, and user provisioning across all applicable technology systems
* Project Support
* Manage and support IT projects which could include research, analysis, vendor selection and coordination, scheduling, communications, and documentation
* User Support and Training
* Create end-user training
* Review departmental policies and procedures for accuracy, create
* Maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures
* Communicate relevant technology related news, updates, changes, etc. to employees.
* IT Procurement
* Execute technology related purchasing and acquisitions, invoice administration, and tracking
* Other duties as assigned
What we're looking for
* High School diploma or GED
* Minimum of 4 years of directly applicable experience
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity
* Problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
Nice to have
* Experience within multiple Information Systems disciplines (Hardware support, applications support, telephony, networking, Active Directory, etc.)
* Technology certifications (MSP, A+, CCNA, etc.)
Our pay and benefits
* Salary: $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
