The IT Business Systems Analyst will function as the voice of the customer, internal and external, and stakeholders to ensure that our teams continue to deliver the best-in-breed product. This position will work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be self- motivated, proactive, and an out-of-the-box thinker.

Responsabilities

1. Identify strategies and improvement opportunities while reengineering processes for greater efficiency.

2. Conduct tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.

3. Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

4. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

5. Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities.

6. Identify and document business strategies, objectives, and drivers.

7. Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

8. Re-engineer processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.

9. Identify /document how applications and systems interact to support business processes.

10. Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.

11. Use knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify complex information systems.

12. Write test plans and test cases to ensure the application changes meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.

13. Conduct various tests like system, integration, readiness, and acceptance. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.

14. Verify through test changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.

15. Report and review testing results.

16. Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills

Proficient in Project Management Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient Analytical skills (data and information)

Ability to write computer programs for various purposes. Ability to analyze and address the needs of users.

Thorough understanding of computer engineering principles and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Able to work as part of a team (team player).

Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience.

Professional certifications for role positions (is a plus) 4 or more years of business systems analysis experience.

Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development.
