Job Description: IT Business Analyst

Role Overview: Client is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join the Product Journey Tribe. In this role, you will work closely with architects, business analysts, process analysts, and IT delivery partners to design and implement reliable, scalable, and sustainable solutions. While your specific focus may vary depending on the team, your core responsibilities will remain consistent.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner in developing the roadmap and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with software architects to design end-to-end solutions.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, including analysts, developers, and testers.
• Ensure scope preservation and consistency at the epic level.
• Monitor and optimise application quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide accurate capacity and effort assessments.
• Maintain IT processes, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Propose improvements and assist in prioritisation.
• Take ownership of initiatives and resolve stakeholder conflicts.
• Coach and challenge team members and delivery partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
• 5–7 years of IT experience, preferably in the telco or utility sector
• At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst or consultant
• Proven experience in integration projects, particularly API-based solutions
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, especially Scrum
• Experience in functional analysis and interface design

• Experience with telecom products or within a telco environment
• Familiarity with tools/suites like Netcracker
