SUMMARY

Working independently, the Information Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. This role involves managing an IT Specialist to support the company's technology needs and drive continuous improvement. The Information Systems Manager will work closely with other departments to implement and maintain technology solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency at Killer Brownie. Employees in this position may interact with their leader when needed, to receive guidance and feedback.Some non-routine activities may require their leader’s advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure Killer Brownie’s IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and optimized for business success, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of Killer Brownie's systems.
• Handle network administration tasks, including backup, security management, user account management, and expansion as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that support business objectives, helping train staff on new tools and how to use them effectively.
• Support the research, analysis, and implementation of new technology to support growth and efficiency throughout the organization.
• Implement and manage data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and enhance NetSuite ERP functionality, troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless system performance.
• Lead EDI integration, including onboarding and testing EDI documents such as Purchase Orders (850), Invoices (810), and Advanced Shipment Notices (856).
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect Killer Brownie's IT infrastructure and data, training employees on best practices and incident reporting procedures.
• Manage and update Killer Brownie's incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead and mentor the IT Specialist, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware, software, and data assets, including their versions and configurations.
• Manage IT budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective technology investments that align with business priorities.
• Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure IT system performance, security, and operational efficiency, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required; focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a senior IT role, or similar management experience required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)

• Working experience in technology needs for a manufacturing or warehouse fulfillment environment, including familiarity with EDI.
• Proficient in Office 365 administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, RF Smart, and RedZone is preferred, but candidates with a strong ERP background will be considered.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
