1. Proxy Configuration and Management:

- Install, configure, and maintain web proxy servers and filtering systems.

- Develop and implement proxy rules to control access to specific types of content and websites.

- Regularly update and patch proxy software to address security vulnerabilities.

2. Content Filtering:

- Define and manage content filtering policies based on organizational needs and industry best practices.

- Create and maintain categories for web content filtering (e.g., social media, adult content, streaming services).

- Monitor and adjust filtering rules to balance productivity and security.

3. Monitoring and Reporting:

- Monitor web traffic and proxy performance to ensure optimal operation and minimal disruption.

- Generate and analyze reports on web usage, blocked content, and policy violations.

- Investigate and address issues related to blocked or incorrectly filtered content.

4. Security and Compliance:

- Ensure web content filtering aligns with company security policies and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with IT and security teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

- Participate in audits and assessments related to web content filtering and network security.

5. User Support and Training:

- Provide technical support for issues related to web content filtering and proxy access.

- Educate users about content policies and acceptable use practices.

- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving user access issues.

6. Policy Development:

- Assist in developing and updating organizational policies related to web content access and filtering.

- Stay current with emerging trends in web content filtering and proxy technology to recommend improvements.
