IBM iX – Experience the Human Factor.

In the role of Information Security Specialist (f/m/x), you will support our customer teams in the implementation of Data Security and Privacy requirements in our customer projects. IBM iX information security management system is certified by ISO 27001 and TISAX. You will ensure effective implementation of information security controls that support our customers in the execution of their digital business processes and thus contribute to the growth of our company. To succeed that, we will make sure that you get a quick and profound introduction to the topics of Information Security and Data Privacy, together with the existing team. You’re going to be working with a team distributed across Austria, Croatia, and Germany.

Sounds interesting? We are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible in full-time (40 hours per week) – ideally in Varaždin/Zagreb/Osijek with a possibility of working partially from home-office (3 days per week).

Your Tasks

• You support business teams with the implementation of information security and data privacy controls including risk management and documentation together with the Information Security and Data Privacy Team. This includes testing of and reporting on those information security and data privacy controls
• You own the framework for Information Security and Data Privacy Controls and align this within the company and with IBM
• You are the point of contact in all Information Security and Data Privacy topics for the business (project) teams
• You manage information security or data privacy incidents and ensure that they are handled according to our internal process
• You assist in Information Security and Data Privacy audits (e.g. ISO 27001, TISAX).
• You develop a culture of information security and data privacy awareness within the business teams
• Depending on your skills and experience you might also be responsible for other tasks within the Information Security and Data Privacy Team

Your Skills

• Ideally you have knowledge of Information Security and Data Privacy
• You have an inclination for navigating complex regulatory landscapes
• You are a great team player and work well in a geographically distributed team
• You work independently, are well organised and have a hands-on mentality
• You have great communication skills and are able to engage the business teams in Information Security and Data Privacy topics in a structured and clear manner
• A technical background, alongside knowledge in information security and data privacy regulations are welcomed
• You speak fluent Croatian and English (min. C1) while German is a plus
