What will you do?

The Information Security Manager (ISM) plays a significant role within Bizzdesign’s Security & Compliance Team. In this dynamic role, the ISM will design, develop, and maintain policies, procedures, and (technical) controls aligned with information security frameworks. Currently, Bizzdesign holds several (Information) Security certifications and attestations.

As a result of two mergers, we will need to expand this, including FedRAMP Authorization. Several other interesting projects are planned in order to optimize and improve the overall security management and posture of the future group.

Your responsibilities include:

• Information Security Management: Prepare, monitor, and update the information security management environment (systems, policies, and procedures).
• Policy and Procedure Oversight: Coordinate the review and publication of client policies and procedures with process owners.
• Security Awareness Promotion: Promote awareness of best practices in information security.
• Risk and Issue Management: Monitor and communicate risks and issues, ensuring mitigation and keeping the business informed of progress.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across the business to drive continuous security improvements.
• Client Communication: Provide information to prospects and customers about Bizzdesign’s security processes and address questions.
• Security Audits and Countermeasures: Conduct periodic information security audits, recommend countermeasures, and develop proactive solutions.
• Project Management: Manage information security transformation projects, including compliance and audit-related initiatives.
• Framework Monitoring and Improvement: Continuously monitor the information security management framework and identify areas for improvement.
• Incident Reporting and Follow-up: Report information security incidents, recommend countermeasures, and track the implementation of solutions.
• Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Scans: Review penetration test reports and regular vulnerability scans.
• Project Initiation and Completion: Initiate, write, and complete security-related projects.
• Audit Assistance: Assist during external audits to ensure compliance and security best practices.

What are we looking for?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You must be fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• You have a CISSP/CISM or similar information security certifications.
• You have 3 – 5 years of post-graduation experience in an Information Security operational role in an international environment.
• You are able to work from one of our offices in the Netherlands (Utrecht/Enschede) for at least two days a week to meet and work together with our team.
• You are flexible regarding working hours as you will be part of an international team with different time zones.
• You work well under pressure, and you can manage to work on different projects/ tasks at the same time.
• You have an excellent eye for detail and are a real pro in organizing your work.
• You are easy to communicate with, follow high integrity standards, and have a sincere interest in people.
