Develops and executes data protection security analysis and controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Technically proficient/skilled communicator to engage with senior leadership building strong relationships collaborating to identify, analyze and implement data security controls and data security protective measures.

This is a hybrid position. You will be required to come to the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for utilizing exceptional communication and social skills to articulate complex ideas effectively engage with senior leadership.
  • Advanced d ata analytical skills to develop and implement tailored DLP rules, including analyses of data flows/patterns to identify potential risks
  • Design cross platform DLP policies from complex datasets, statistical techniques and data visualization to ensure optimal protection
  • Operationalizes classification, data-at-rest and data-in-motion technology.
  • Leads security policies to control virtual access to systems.
  • Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by data theft,

destruction, alteration or mis-use.

  • Internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing

functions.

  • Collaborates with team to include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with end user issues
  • Demonstrated technical experience
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively on projects
  • Demonstrated experience trouble shooting
  • Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications
  • Experience developing new systems and tools
  • Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience identifying and implement process improvements
