Plans and directs Azure/M365 policy and security related components, services and application integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, security analysts, and compliance team, to develop highly secure and scalable architectures and roadmaps. Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to address vulnerabilities, integrating security controls and monitoring mechanisms into Azure solutions. Participate in the selection and configuration of security services and tools, aligning them with NIST CSF compliance guidelines. Stay up to date with the latest M365 and NIST CSF changes and industry trends, advising teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document system requirements and design specifications specific to NIST CSF and/or SOX compliance. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle. Administer, operate, manage, and maintain components for on-premises and cloud-based environments and systems. Reviews completion and implementation of system configurations and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients. Strong understanding or direct experience with onboarding and operating within Azure and M365 environments Strong understanding and experience with the designing, engineering, administering and operating M365 security services Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and conditional access policies Experience with Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Experience managing Azure/M365 using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs, CIS or Azure Security Benchmarks
