Summary:
Akkodis is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect for a DIRECT HIRE position based in Dallas, TX. This will ideally be a hybrid working schedule in the North Dallas office, but we are open to remote candidates as well. The desired candidate will have 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years of architecture and design responsibilities. We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and implementation of security controls across the enterprise, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Center of Excellence products and non-Microsoft cloud-based cybersecurity solutions. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding operations and sensitive data across the enterprise. This is an exciting role with an industry leader!!!

Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement security solutions that align with business, IT, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all designs follow “Secure by Design” and “Well-Architected” framework principles, including scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Work with Microsoft Security solutions: Experience with security broker setups, MDO 1 and 2, and other MS security tools.
- Understand cloud environments: Have a deep knowledge of how Microsoft integrates security in the cloud, managing configurations, and understanding the threats and mitigation strategies in those environments.
- Support MS cloud growth: As MS security investments are expanding, they should help organizations optimize and maximize these tools for their cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate and advise: This individual would need to be capable of discussing cloud security strategies with senior leadership and help steer the direction of security within the cloud space.
- Assess and integrate Microsoft Security technologies within broader cybersecurity strategy and tool roadmap.
- Drive the execution of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring successful transition to operational teams for ongoing support.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and Microsoft stakeholders to develop end-to-end enterprise security solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Lead and coordinate technical resources to deliver high-impact business outcomes.
- Advance the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program in partnership with Microsoft CoE and business stakeholders to ensure effective data protection.
- Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and technologies in both Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud environments.
- Utilize Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to monitor, assess, and improve security configurations.
- Support Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response (IR) teams with real-time engineering and remediation during active threats.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in technology preferred
- 10+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years of architect level experience
- Any certifications preferred: CISM, CISSP, CISA, CIA, CIPM, or equivalent.
- Expertise in Microsoft security features, including Security Broker, MDO (Microsoft Defender for Office 365), and an understanding of the broader security configurations in cloud environments. Additionally, comfortable working on configurations, especially around the evolving Microsoft security landscape.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing through collaboration.
- DLP Program maturity experience.
- Experience working with MSSP/offshore teams.
- Strong background in cybersecurity architecture, business/data analysis, and project/product management.
- Proven ability to manage communication and training efforts tied to security projects and change management initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
