Summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a proactive and collaborative information management professional. You will have a central role in promoting and embedding best-practice information and records management at the RBA to reduce risk and improve efficiencies.





About the Team



As an Information Analyst, you will join the RBA's Information Governance team, situated within the Knowledge Management Department. The team is responsible for providing information management services that ensure compliance, reduce risk, and promote effective work practices.





Within this role you will:

  • Manage the lifecycle of the RBA's electronic corporate records from creation and use through to storage and disposal in the agency's centralised EDRMS, Content Manager (TRIM).
  • Lead the review and maintenance of the RBA's Business Classification Scheme (BCS) and Retention Authority (RA) in line with functional requirements.
  • Partner with owners of corporate business systems to provide advice on recordkeeping requirements and capture information management controls and functional requirements.
  • Support staff in the use of the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and other information management tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with your team and broader Information Solutions function to align strategically on information management deliverables and engagements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of information and records management policies, procedures, guidelines, and training.
  • Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of the team's processes and engagement program, identifying opportunities for improvement or more in-depth stakeholder engagement.





Your background

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of records management compliance requirements, including familiarity with the Archives Act 1983.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead stakeholder engagements.
  • Experience working with corporate record repositories and business systems (e.g. Content Manager, Microsoft 365) with an understanding of their functional information management compliance requirements.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying the Australian Government's records management and/or information protection compliance obligations.
